Interface directly with Customer’s technical staff, Suppliers, Client Manufacturing personnel and Design Engineering to incorporate NDE best practices into design and manufacturability plans of world class heat exchangers and related products.
Responsible for development, record keeping / documentation and execution of Quality Plans to assure all components and assemblies meet or exceed applicable codes such as ASME Pressure Vessel Section VIII, Client Quality Standards and Customer Specifications in an Engineered to Order environment. Must have proven record of having implemented (not just maintained) a cost of quality and / or real time quality data acquisition system which supported a “change in manufacturing culture” with the intent of integrating quality and manufacturing functions.
Note: This is not a “maintenance” position but one of implementing truly world class quality commensurate with the cost implications of global competition.

Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must have a strong working knowledge of key manufacturing / fabrication processes and ASME Code requirements and be able to effectively communicate (written and verbal) with Customers, Inspectors, Product Design Engineering, Sales, IT, HR, Purchasing, Scheduling, Procurement, Operations Management and Production Employees. Detailed working knowledge of NIBC Code, TEMA and API-660, 932 and 934 standards a strong plus.
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or closely related field is required with a minimum of ten years of related experience / training or an equivalent combination of education and hands on experience.
